He isn't going to fail. I know that from my direct dealings with him. Unfortunately you can try to please everyone but sometimes it just isn't possible. And while you please 8 out of 10 people it's the 2 that are unsatisfied that always have the most opinions on what should have happened or how it should have been handled. And tack in the wonderful world of Social media and everything becomes a catastrophe.

InSain does extremely quality work for a small amount of people based on the number of hours in a day/week. Getting time with him is a premium and I take it whenever I can simply because of the level of his work.

If he failed you then I wish you luck with another fabricator. Hopefully your needs are met in the time frame that you desire and that the product is what you hope. But its time to move on.

I'm not sure if that was directed at me or somebody else, but I am glad you have confidence in him and I wish him well. Just cautioning that the lifeblood of any successful business is new customers and doing what you can to keep them coming in the door is the recipe for long term success. And of course you are correct about social media giving a disproportionate voice to a few disgruntled (rightfully or wrongfully so) individuals who can tarnish a business's reputation. That being said, unless something else has gone on that I'm not aware of this thread seems to have remained civil.

He has not personally failed me. I'm still sitting here with money in hand waiting for some form of communication to schedule an appointment as I am well aware of the quality of work and that was what attracted me to his business in the first place. I'm not asking for much other than a response so I can get the work done. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation.

Absolutely we are keeping it civil. Out of fear of derailing this thread much further I will talk to one point you make above and my point is to business in general. I cannot speak to whether or not InSain is in this position.

Across multiple industries and especially in small business the need for new customers is NOT always the case. In fields from medical to automotive small businesses thrive and succeed with a customer base that is finite and long term. They have no need to take on new customers until their current portfolio diminishes. That can take just years or could be decades. By that time reputation for quality of work has built up so much that future clients are waiting in line just to get a foot in the door. This allows small businesses to remain small and succeed in the long term. It just how you play your cards.

I'm a very happy customer with Insain. Corey and Dylan have gone above and beyond what my expectations where when I had them do work for me. I understand your guys frustration for feeling like your left out in the cold. You have every right to take your business where you feel. For me I'll stick with Insain because of the quality of work. It's worth the wait for me. I'm writing this just to let you know that I'm in fact a happy customer. And not to dog any ones opinion.

FWIW, I did have to wait, but InSain did a full install of my lift, UCA's and CMC. They also had it completed in less time then expected.
After the lift I went to get my wheels and tires, which would not clear my bumper. InSain stopped what they were working on, and cut away at my bumper, and re-tapped my lining so it looks clean without so much of charging me a dime.
A week following, I found I had a bad shock. I met with InSain at Toytec and he replaced my shock with a new one without question.

As Eric said, they are a local and small company, but they are in high demand. I'm sure they are diligently working on fulfilling every work request, but there are only so many hours in a day.
I would gladly go back to InSain for any future work based on them making sure I was 100% satisfied with their work.

My two cents.....& why this rubbed me the wrong way.

I've been looking off and on for about 3 years for a bumper. Finally saw insane and I'm "local " sweet! I had two questions : base price & estimated weight.
I still have no idea. The more time went on, the more annoying. And the questions that arise from no response from a small company. ...if the wait for a reply is this long, how many years is the lead time on a bumper? If I got them to work on it, how would I ever get a hold of them again? Ive always had great experiences with small companies in the past cause they care a ton....hmmm. what's up with these crazy busy guys tho...it's a similar feeling to trying to get tattood by the worlds top artists, try try try, wait wait wait. conclusion is: I'm annoyed & apparently not part of the cool club but oh well, fuck it I'll go with my stock bumper till I bash it on a rock.

No doubt these guys do exceptional work. That's great for those of you who have gotten work done by them, but simply waiting isn't the issue.

My advice is figure out how to address/reply potential customers in a timely manner without impacting your delivery time and personal lives. Maybe stop trying to get any new business at all, cause obviously the work and reputation are there? Great stuff regardless.

Best of luck to the insane crew!

So Corey with InSainFab did a 30" BajaDesigns stealth light bar. He made some custom mounts as BD doesnt supply them. He did a GREAT job!

Something weird is going on with this thread. Ive received two email notifications today for messages that never showed up on this thread. Sounds like someone is pretty pissed off and I'm not sure why they are being censored. Anyone have an explanation?

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
That new bumper for the '16 is looking really nice. Any way you can go back to your OP and fix the pictures so we can see your other handiwork again? The pictures are not working (at least not for me).
