    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Indeed I have a 1976 K20 The frame is perfect

    The cab for the most was no longer held on.

    Sliders, lift, 275/70/17
    IMO having minimal rust is the number one factor. If you have a rusty car, it just constantly feels like you're fighting a losing battle. My current truck has issues come up here and there, but at least I know it has a solid base.

    Then be like me know what I was getting and paid $500.00 and drove it the 100 miles home.

    I should fix the frame I just can`t get motivated .

    Yep, but you knew the issues it had and accepted it.

    You did your due diligence and knew what you were willing to deal with and what it was worth for you to pay.

    Yep, and as we talked about in another thread, vehicles from rust-free states aren't generally more expensive considering the same vehicles with rust are commanding the same price.

    In the long run that out of state, rust free vehicle becomes worth even more than what you paid.

    In truth I went to buy 4 extra tires and wheels for $400.00 .

    Mom or the female of the house wanted the truck gone in a very bad way .

    Another $100.00 for a running 3.4 4x4 was a no brainer.

    My friend drove my vehicle Home i drove the new one not one code tripped the whole way home.

    Even the AC worked!!
