Had my new wheels installed today by the dealer since I happened to be there for my 15K service anyway.

they managed to scratch the lip on every wheel, I emailed the dealer and they apologized and said they will fix it. He asked me to come by on Monday when the "wheel guy" is there. Any idea what they can do to fix this? What should I look for afterwards to make sure it's good?

I know these will get scraped up eventually but they're brand new and I paid for the install.

I had to search long and hard for the “damage” It’s not that bad, see if you could get a couple free oil changes if that. Doubt you’ll find anyone who could mount them without a little paint loss.

The cheap fix is to remove those bolts, mask off the lip and paint each ring. The "factory" fix is to dismount the tires and have them re-powdercoated (which is expensive, highly unlikely and you still run the risk of damage again once the tires are remounted). I totally understand your annoyance with the damage though. If anything see if they'd be willing to refund you some money for the service or otherwise compensate you for the damage.

They'll likely touch up the paint. If you're happy with the repair then that's what matters.

That's just not accurate. It's not difficult to mount and balance tires without damaging the wheel.

FWIW the SCS wheels are painted, not powdercoated

Yeah they had to cut the stem out. They replaced everything free of charge but it was still very frustrating.

I'm interested to see what they do... I think we're all on the same page it's not a huge deal, annoyance is a good word for it.

It's hard to tell from the picture but have you tried washing them? Sometimes they those types of marks wipe off.

I used duplicolor to touch mine up. The plastic sheet liner that comes in the box from SCS already had an imprint from the wheel radius and made a perfect template to drop in behind the wheel lip and just spray away. I'm keeping that for future use.

Most likely their "fix" will look worse than those abrasions. I'd get some free oil changes as mentioned and don't let them touch them.

I’d just ask them to credit you the install fee..
    It’s pretty minimal
Discount jack one of mine up and gave me a 60$ cash credit.
