I have a 2018 Tacoma SR5. I purchased a camera that fits over the existing rear view camera. My question: How do I get the wire from the back of the truck (license tag area) to the cab. Or maybe, what is the best way to get there? I have never done anything like this, but with forums and videos, I figured I could get it figured out.

Look at posts (or even Toyota’s PDF) for installing bed lights for pre 2020 Tacoma. That’s the exact path you should take. From back run wires along frame / drivers side, connecting to existing wiring loom. Up into the cab under the drivers seat (there is a grommet) then up kick panel. From their make it up yourself, Ie up A pillar to mirror. Their is an equally good / same path along the passenger side as well.
