Installed the BA step rock sliders today by myself and it was not that bad. Driver side has more obstacles than the passenger. Took me about 3 hours total time.

Loving them! Very well built and sturdy, and could not beat the price either at $650. I’ll take more pics to post in the AM. Thanks!

I've read alot of guys suggest getting longer bolts for the front double welded nut bracket. Did everyone encounter the same issue? I just ordered mine. Wasn't planning on adding any sliders but couldn't pass up on the $560 shipped to my door.

Where did you read that? Mine just came in a couple days ago, for $540 the quality looks great. I was going to go with side steps initially but for this price it's crazy not to get these. The box did have a sticker on the side stating "revised hardware kit" I'm curious if they made some changes recently.

A few guys on a Facebook post recommend to replace those 2 bolts from the front on each side. They said they were a pain to get them to catch the thread that it would just be easier to replaced them with longer ones.

I tried installing them on a time crunch bad idea. I got stuck on the driver side trying to remove the wire loom clip on the front side without breaking it.

When you guys get them on please send side profile and front profile pictures, I'd like to see how they sit. I haven't installed mine yet

Bummer another obstacle to over come. Mime haven't been shipped but trying to get a full grasp of the install. Is the clip accessible from the back?

This should be, the install guide on BA4x4 website tells you how to remove it I think

I installed these with the help of my brother and it took us about 3 hours I think to install mainly because we started with the driver side. The passenger side took about 30 minutes. The driver side has a few clips you have to move to install. For example the brake line clips and the clip on the harness stated above. That harness came off easily with a tool my brother had I think it’s specifically to remove clips. I will say I did modify two screws on the driver side. I cut them down a bit. Since they interfered. But I did use blue loctite on all my screws.

I’ll upload pictures tomorrow of the sliders. I didn’t like the side steps that the tacoma’s had at the dealership so I got one without them. And I wasn’t feeling the naked look without them, plus i have two young kids who are struggling getting in so when I saw the sale for them I bought them. I will say they are at a 25 degree angle. I wish they were at 0. But overall they look good and it helps my kids get in the truck.

Assuming you got the sliders then not the step sliders?

If you go back to the first page there's a few photos, I'll put some up though so you can see some better angles. I don't have any great ones from the front, but this should hopefully give you a good idea of fitment. For the price, these cannot be beat, I do have gripes on their design and the angle, but who can argue for $760 shipped.IMG_1414.jpg IMG_1417.jpg IMG_1418.jpg IMG_1416.jpg IMG_1415.jpg IMG_1894.jpg

Very nice man, they look great. I bought the 0 degree with the steps. I'll post pics once I install them.
