Correct I went with the sliders. I considered the step sliders, but they were already sold out on their website. Their warehouse is about 40 miles from me so I received them in a couple day of ordering.

I ended up getting these back in the summer, long before the Black Friday deals. I just meant even at full MSRP, they're still a great value prop. If you find them on sale, even better!

Absolutely, I snagged them on Black Friday for $540 with free shipping! I was going to pay more for side steps. The quality looks great too. They came in last week.

Dis you remove the spacer on the S bracket or just left it on without contacting the frame

So finished the install today. It took me most of the day because I had faulty hardware. need to reach out to BA4x4. I just want to know if anyone else had issue remounting the small little box on driver side. I left this bolt out because it wouldnt allow this box to sit flush. Just curious on what you guys did?20240113_200513.jpg 20240113_200518.jpg 20240113_200513.jpg

I removed the spacer there so that it was actually getting contact with the frame and that bolt was helping with support.

I finally got the chance to install these yesterday with the first nice day since I've had the truck. Install wasn't bad at all with all the advice from this thread. Definitely use a flash light to get the large brackets into the frame. I also had to trim the plastic frame covers, no one had mentioned this before but they don't fit back on with the bracket hanging out. The passenger side probably took me longer since I was prepping and taking my time, the only struggle on the driver side was that front bolt on the inner frame bracket. Once that was in I was moving. I used jack stands and a jack to position the sliders and everything went on pretty well. Total it took about 3 hours by myself and wasn't too bad. I think I was mentally prepared for it to be worse than it was, which helped. So far so good. Have to get used to the step up but I'm a fan of the added protection. Also my kit didn't come with any extended bolts, all were the same length but they still worked fine. The S bracket went on perfectly with the washer they gave me, my box had a "revised hardware" sticker on it. Not sure if it was updated from what was sold before. I used a thick washer for the bolt that goes behind the electrical box. This limited how deep the bolt went and allowed me to bolt it back on without issue. I used rubber to cover brake lines as well.

Yeah I did, I used one of the washers and placed it on the outer side of the frame. that shortened the bolt stick-out behind the black box. I left out the bolt that goes behind the other 2 brake lines because I didn't want to bend those up bad, it didn't fit unless I did.

Yeah thats the only bolt I left out because I even shortened the bolt and it will still make contact

How'd you get the other one in? It was sitting like directly on the brake lines, I didn't want to risk bending them

Oh ok you're talking about the one in the rear? Mine line sit right over the bolt I didn't have to bend them but they're not on the little white spacer bracket they were originally on

The rear yeah, and ok okay that makes sense then, cause yeah I couldn't get it in the bracket with the bolt back there, for the driver side I added the L bracket instead but on the passenger side I skipped it. I figured if I'm missing 1 it isn't a big deal. I loctite every bolt and torqued them down

Yeah I didn't want to bend any brake lines so I just left them freely I still ziptied hoses around it incase of any rubbing. There isn't much play on the lines so wasn't to concern that they're not inserted in the bracket. I didn't loctite mine I figure the locking washer should suffice either way I will keep an eye out. Only.thing I still need to do is maybe add some sort of protection to the harness on driver side exterior so it won't rub against the slider over time
