Install topper on bed protectors cut for OEM tonneau cover?

The factory tonneau covers come with rubber sealing blocks at the front corners of the bed. It's important to keep those with a topper, and even to add silicone around them, and under the rails.

My 2021 Sport did not come with a tonneau. So I bought the rubber blocks when installing my topper. Cost $30 each from Toyota.

The notches in the rails will be covered by the base of the topper, but you need to remove the tonneau mounting pins.
