Installation of Raptor Lights on a TRD Pro Grill 2017 SR5 Tacoma

Hope everyone out there in TW is doing well and staying healthy. I recently purchased a set of raptor lights from TacomaBeast, and I know there is an installation video on YouTube, but I am having them done by a local truck accessories company, and they said when they do installation of lights they normally don't go through the fuse box, they go directly to the wiring by way of the parking lights. I was wondering if anyone has every done it this way, and if you have did you have any issues with them once they were installed.

 

That's how I did mine, through the parking lights and no problems at all.
