Last week installed 2" lift - front bilstein 5100, OME 2885 coils, setting 2",rear - 5100 bilstein, 1,5" AAL icon. and got pretty squatted truck. I think it is cause i've got BA rear bumper(100lbs) installed, and barricade HD front stubby bumper(60lbs) in front. currently waiting for trd pro skid plate (40lbs) to install.
is it ok to ride with such balance? Front is a little bit higher than back - no more than 1,5"
please advice. also thinking to change tires, but stick with 16" wheels

I prefer natural stance with rear a little higher. Can’t you lower the front height setting on the shocks?

was thinking about it, but i will need to disassemble em, and again run alignment process. currently thinking to add 1 more leaf at the rear cause it easier and install heavier skid plate ( i don't know how it will affect stance)

Some leaf springs respond poorly to add-a-leaf kits. Yours arent that old so its a surprise that it didnt go higher in the rear, but it all depends on what weight the weak factory springs saw constantly.

I'd say the issue is in the front, way too high. 884's would have been more ideal, but who knows maybe it will settle with the skid.

you realize those coils add 2.5" of lift on their own right? your set to 4.5" of lift up front right now with the bilsteins set on 2"

I ended up with the same thing. I did the adjustable TRD shocks (5100s?) set to 1.5 in the front with stock coils and the Icon 1.5” AAL with the TRD shocks in back. I got 1.5” lift in front (measured) but only got 3/4” lift in back (measured) using the Icon “1.5” AAL”. I don’t have any additional weight from mods. I can’t imagine anyone would be getting 1.5” out of those Icon 1.5” AALs. I ended up adding the TRD 1” lift blocks on top of the Icon AALs to end up with 1.75” in the back. I’m happy with the addition of the 1” blocks.

Better measure your height from center hub to bottom of fender and you should not be exceeding 23” in front.

actually no. i thought it works differently like you setting ring on a shocks and coils in strut are at the same position, no?

Also make sure you installed the lower spring perch the right way.

no. bilstein settings is for how much lift you cam achieve with the factory coil. at 2" setting you would get 2" of lift with stock coil.

OME coils should go on zero perch.
885 coils on 0 perch lift the front up to 1.8".

@devinzz1 told you the issue. You have lift coils on top of adjustable lift shocks. It’s clear from your pic you have double lifted the front end and it needs to be corrected before you damage your CVs and/or diff needle bearing because 4”+ is way too much for our trucks. The coils you have need to be used on the lowest ring setting on the shocks and you’ll be sitting level where you should be.

no, they will settle more, but everyone is correct, 885s need to be on the bottom setting. You can put the driver side up one notch to avoid the lean that Tacomas have

I have 885s on 5100s, lowest passenger, one up on the driver, with hybrid bumper and winch, aluminum skids, 2nd gen access cab and I settled to 2”

Easy to install. Really. How ever you need to cut stock.
