    I run 35s (315s)
What do you mean "how's the highway sleep?"
I have no idea how my truck would drive with 4.88s as I've never had them on.

I misread, I thought you had 285's now.. sorry

I am only running 265's now and think the 4.56 would be good and I would be fine at 285's with the 4.56.

I am just hoping It does ok with these smaller tires at highway speeds

Guys in Socal there's tons of places to regear, demello for one does. They have a guy come to them, mobile service. Or go the diy route and go through ecgs to get a complete third member. I got a front ARB locker and 4.56 gears for about 2400 out the door so 1k less for no locker. Supercharger and gears is awesome!

im getting around 2k just for labor on lockers and regear... yikes..

Ive priced the parts at 31-3300 for two lockers, front and rear gears and youre getting a free pump now.. but that brings me to 5k for all of that installed.

you think its 15ish hours to do lockers and gears?

That might be a little high, but it's southern CA and they're a high end shop.

Pull the diffs yourself, most of the cost is labor to tear everything apart.

I had my front regeared for $200, and the quote for the rear adding an ARB $250. No reason to add seals or bearings. Factory Crush sleeves can be purchased for $20 each. Total price for regear ~$900 not including locker.

@Diablo169 what truck did you re-gear for that price? The gears alone bare kit for the 16-17 are 900 and 1300 for the package, best price I could find. You got the parts for 450? Thats a deal.

I got everything through ECGS. I'll see if I can find my reciept, I believe fronts were $200 and rears were like $260. I bought extra seals, pinion nuts, crush sleeves, and the crush sleeve eliminator, CV Needle bearing replacement bushing, and with shipping it was under $700.

EDIT: I found my invioce, I paid $207 for front gears for the 8" Clam Shell, and I paid $310 for rear gears for the 8.75".

That makes a little more sense... I dont know enough about differentials to know which parts would even need to be purchased to go that route, so I got the full kit. Plus I dont know a shop i could show up to with parts like that in hand, and two differentials, and be like here you go, good luck!

There is a place in the Bay Area called Rear End Specialties. They are awesome, I've been using them for years, all they do is rearends. I could come in with pieces of a diff and they would have the parts to put it back together.

When I brought in mt front Clam Shell, the owner said it was the cleanest newest diff he had ever worked on, said the grease was still in the seal.

Damn that is sweet. I wish we had a place like that around here.... I also wish we had hills around here to drive up with my new gears... oh well.
