    I was wondering how real mechanics changed them. I find it hard to believe that a Toyota technician would have to bend the fender to change them. Wonder if they have a secret Toyota tool?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Its not to hard to do it the way the factory/dealer could. Its just time consueming. You have to release all electrical connections from the engine bay to the frame. Loosen the steering shaft, and some other shit. THEN, jack the body off the frame. This gives the propper amount of clearance to remove and reinstall the UCA's without bending anything. Only catch is you need a lift that can safely lift the body from the frame. Being as the bending is minimal, and nothing else is affected, I prefer the ease and speed of just bending the stuff out of the way.

    When I started bending your fender, I looked back and you looked a bit concerned. I may have mis read your expresion. Like I mentioned to ya, I take a little more care with other people vehicles than I would mine. :)

    They are talking about the Upper Control Arms not the Strut. So no worries man.

    Are the TC's pretty straight forward to install? Any special tools needed? Those are next or some sliders. No use to have sliders if your factory uca break.

    No special tools needed. Make sure you have a few different length 1/4" extensions, so you can push the UCA bolt out, and tap it back in. I use a 8", 6", and 3".
    Dam. I forgot about that.
    Colin! Dont do it yourself! Hell, the video Will would have to make would be 8 hours long! :D
