I might look into some shims. It seems to improve some with weight in the bed, maybe due to the change in angle?

    Sounds likely, shims are cheap.

I would definitely take to a driveline shop to get re-balanced. While out, i would consider getting some small shims to space the carrier bearing mount lower as well. Maybe 1/4" shims would help

The short shaft does not have any balancing weights.

I have not, I definitely need to get a more accurate torque wrench. I just have one of these rinky-dink wrenches: upload_2020-11-25_8-9-20.png

I could just find some at an auto parts shop or local hardware store, correct?

I would get some small axle shims, a carrier bearing spacer, and the problem persists, get the D/S balanced.
both sets of shim will only run you $30

Call around to see if they have them in stock, as stated before calculate 1 degree for every inch of lift so if 2 inches of lift, 2 degree shims.

    Amazon also has them available.

    Alright an update:

I am still waiting for the carrier bushing spacers to come in the mail, however I have put an OBDII reader on it and some codes came up. The codes are as follows:

    P2122- High risk
    P2127
    P2138
    U0124

The three P codes all relate to an issue in the Throttle Position Sensor as well as the Electronic Throttle Control system as a whole. The U0124 code indicates a miscommunication with the lateral acceleration sensor.

Only required if you are getting a vibration. If not leave it alone. Both blocks and AAL's can change the driveline angle. You can add degree shims or try the Old Man Emu FK29 carrier bearing drop kit that helps driveline angle after lift. Dirt cheap and easy to install.

I ordered the CB drop kit this morning. I'll let you know when I get it done whether that fixed the problem or not. Thanks!

I agree . Why spend money on parts until you measure the angles ?
You can download an app to turn your phone into an angle finder .

Your universal joints look very dry . Got any grease fittings on those critters or are they polypropelyne and sealed ? Only way you can tell if a universal joint is seized is by removing the driveshaft .

Have you tried a stall test ? Hold your foot on the brake, transmission warmed up in drive and give it gas to see if you feel the vibration @ 1200 and 1500 RPM ?

I created a vibration thread to help members out . Maybe save them some cash before they spend $$$$
