Installed: Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags

I have an AAL with ICON 2.0 in the rear non TSB 2011 4X4 and the measurment is about 7.5" from the top of the bump stop plate to the bottom of the top bracket. Spacer or no?

 

Here is the setup I'm thinking, anyone running this?

Front: Eibach 1.6" Springs + 5100s @ 0
Rear: Ride Rites with Day Star Cradles + 5100s (have the 3 leaf pack that comes with the TRD offroad)
Tires: New 265/75/16 Nitto Terras

Basically, looking for a setup to help with getting a camper shell + hauling people and gear but still allowing for some mild off roading (mainly getting to campsites). Also looking at towing a travel trailer in the future.

Figuring 10-15 PSI will give me ~1" in the rear unloaded with the shell so the 1.6" upfront should level things out.

 

Can you wheel with airbags on? Or does full flex teter on the edge of ripping them?

dont think so. I would take out the air in the bags if offroading tho. air up to get there if pulling a lot of weight and air down when you hit the dirt to be safe.

 

They would be fine offroading with the daystar cradles. The cradles are the only way to go honestly. Dont take the air all the way out. Keep in mind though that the bags need a minimum amount of air pressure. Since you are replacing your bump stops with these, They act as your bump stops

Yea. I was thinking that but total is $70 and receive Monday. I'm going to check some shops around my area.

ordered the cradles and received them the same day for $70 from Amazon

 

Installed the daystar airbags this morning. Took about 30 mins.

Before: Attached to the bottom



Daystar Cradle installed and now the air bags are free from their bottom mount. Now I feel safe going over bumps. Always felt they might rip with full extension. (rear is jacked up)

What type of hand air pump are you guys using?

I'm just using a bike hand pump. I usually keep it inflated around 7psi for regular driving.

 

I have a bicycle pump that I use.
