Front looks stockish - maybe not exactly but imo. Pic of the where the leaf springs connect to the rear axle will help conclude if it was lifted before.

Oh shit...pic of leaf spring where it attaches to the axle (u bolts), and pic of front hanger?

    That's a lot of rust.

The axle is what the wheels are bolted to. :gossip: :( My truck never had stock shackles when I bought it so maybe someone with stock ones can explain if those are stock.

I have resolved the issue I was correct the whole time there is a different spring rate for the 2wd 4cly and 4wd v6 but if you go anywhere they only have 1 part # 171352L for it so I seen on a thread about the part # 171351L but when you go look it says doesn’t fit Tacoma so I searched the part number and it came back as for 3rd gen 4Runner so I just ran to the autozone and got a 1999 4Runner v6 4wd shock and I installed them and I’m happy to say I’m back to the original height @koditten

Good info. I'm not liking the spacers. I'll see about those 3rd gen 4runner assemblies. Thanks for doing that leg work.

The bottom of the strut is a little turned but you can just install the top then just take a screw driver put it trough the bottom hole and turn it to the right position it’s a hard turn
so u going to have to force it until it’s good

    This the part a used

@koditten have you replaced your rear shocks
Yet? I’m wondering is it the same issue or it wouldn’t matter bc most of the weight is up front

I'm not trying to be a smart ass but do you see how the entire dynamic changed In here once you were more receptive and composed? Now look, you fixed your truck and the world is a happy place again.

Post up a pic now that it's fix. This thread can help others in your shoes!
    :fistbump: great job!
