Got around to installing my new leather steering wheel cover. Ordered the Loncky cover from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QLWTZ0W/ref=twister_B06XBXCWKK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). Used the following threads for pointers:

    For installation:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-steering-wheel-wrap-3rd-gen.29786/

For steering wheel airbag trim removal:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/paint-steering-wheel-trim-panels-on-14-15-tundra.1904/

Took about 5 hours total for installation. A lot of that was positioning and prep. In addition to the above tips for installation I would emphasize positioning and stretching the leather beforehand to make sure everything lines up and the edges meet together before sewing. I installed when it was cold out and even using a hair dryer couldn't quite get some edges to stretch enough leaving some small gaps here and there. Overall I'd give it a 8/10 for fitment. Very satisfied though, especially for the price. Steering wheel feels nicer, thicker.

Yeah, not so bad once you get started. Costs a ton less than a brand new aftermarket steering wheel too.

Did you remove the fake leather wrap or install the new one over it?

I've had one of these in my Amazon cart for months but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I installed a cheaper version on my Camry that has a simpler pattern and that was not a fun job but the result was awesome.
