Ok I installed my Bilstein struts and OME 881 coils today. Not a bad job. About 2 hours on first side and 30 Min the second one. I had to cut 2 bolts off the old struts on first side. I think the truck rides better. I have not been anywhere rough just drove around town. My daughter was happy with it. It will be her truck next year.

Curious too. I just installed eibachs and 5100. Stiff as hell. Initially it's better than what I had, but zero down travel is killing it. Gonna be swapping to ome coils at some point.

Are the OME coils softer than the eibachs?

I think anything is softer than these. Lol. I think the true purpose of eibachs is only if you have a CRAP ton of weight up front.

Good to know. I have heard they are stiff. That and me not really wanting 3 inches of lift have made me shy away.

The pictures with the tool box in the back is before the lift. I got 1 3/4 inches of lift with the 881 coils. I'm sure it will settle some. I drove around alot tonight and it rides great. I will measure in the morning to see if it changed any.

What size tires? And did you do anything to the rear?

265 70 17 I think. I did nothing to the rear . I'm getting a new frame soon and it comes with new rear leaf springs. I'm going to wait and see how it sets after that.

Yup. I really wanted the lift. But I didn't realize I'd have literally zero down travel. I might have like 1/4 Or .5". But thats it. Ha. I let it off the jack, and soon as the tires touched, that was it.

I got to put several miles on the truck today. I can not get over how good it rides. It is not rough at all. I wish I had got more lift out of it.

how much did this set up cost you? If I could get that much lift out of it that would be perfect.

If you went with OME coils, why would you not go with OME’s recommended complementary shocks (Nitocharger Sport)?

Honestly I didn't want to spend the extra for the OME socks.

X2. Answered my questions quickly and reasured me about my setup. They called me and corrected my order as I only ordered 1 set of leaf spring bushings when I needed 2. And had issues with shipping With ups and they called me multiple times to keep me updated and apologized for not being able to install my lift on a weekend. Ended up doing it turkey day. But yeah, those guys are awesome.
