    I did the install myself.

What is the isolator? Is that the rubber gasket on top of the coil?

I double checked everything and it all looks right. The coils are definitely installed right-side-up. The photos must create illusions.

So if I just remove the 3/8" top plate spacer on the passenger side, will that lower the passenger side 3/8", or will it lower it something more than that?

In other words, does the top plate thickness amplify the ride height by any factor?

I think I may just remove it and see what happens.

Sure seems like the passenger side is upside down

Is the lower part of the passenger coil seated in the spring perch correctly ?

Gonna tear into it tonight to see what it going on.

My suspicions at this point are:

    1) the bottom of the coil isn't perfectly seated in the perch, as you suggested (I am, however 100% sure the coil isn't upside-down).

    2) there's something funky with the way the rubber gasket is sitting on top of the coil (is that the isolator that Mr Salty was referring to?) -- maybe it's not lined up properly on the coil

I'll decompress the coils on both sides, inspect everything, wiggle things around to make sure they are properly seated, and recompress. I'll re-measure ride height and if nothing changes, I'll take the top plate spacer off the pax side which should lower me 5/8-3/4" on that side I think. I also discovered that I forgot to put the washer under the lower shock tower bushing, so that will need to happen too.

I'll let you know what happens. Need to get this sorted asap because fudging with my alignment cams has rendered my truck pretty much undrivable.

So I tore everything apart last night and decompressed the coils on both sides, made sure everything was seated properly, and found nothing wrong with what I did the first time.

I ended up taking the 3/8" top plate spacer off on the passenger's side. It dropped me to 23-3/8" on ride height, which is close enough to all 3 other corners.

Mind you this is pre-alignment ride height, we'll see if the alignment changes anything.

So in summary, I'm running both a 1/4" lean ring and a 3/8" top plate spacer on the drivers side, and no trim pieces on the passengers side, and I have basically equal ride heights on each side.

Did you already put it back together? I would suggest swapping sides with the coil springs.

Yeah, truck is already at the alignment shop now.

I did measure the coils side-by-side last night before I put them back on and they were exactly the same length. So I'm guessing (hoping) that swapping sides wouldn't have made much difference.

Hopefully there's no problem with having the trim kit/spacer on the one side and not the other...?

Got my truck back from the alignment shop, seems ok. Ride height is within about 1/8" in all 4 corners.

FWIW, I'm underwhelmed by the ride quality -- I was expecting the upgrade to OME coilovers to be a lot more dramatic. To be honest I'm not sure I can notice any real improvement over the 5100's set at 2.5" with factory coils.

Expansion joints on the highway still feel like I'm driving over 2x4's. Wah wahhhhhhh. :(

I have the same exact problem. I have been the only one up until now and have given up on trying to mess with it. I'm tired of taking it apart. I have the 7mm trim packer on the driver side and 1/2" top plate spacers on both. My measurements are pretty much identical to yours were. But the 3/8" and 1/2" spacers are supposed to get you up to about a full 3" upfront. So it's actually our driver side that is super low for some reason.
