That's a cool little detail on the light hoops that mimic the grill design, nice touch! Just curious, but if someone wanted a intergrated light bar in the center of the bumper where would you put the logo? As they are becoming more popular you see a lot of guys putting them in that area. Just a thought. +1 on what Idaholandho was saying too. Good luck, I like people trying new things and giving out options!

Thanks a lot for the input everyone, I really appreciate it!

I really liked how the extra pieces of 1 1/2" tube added the grille shape to the tubing, something I have not yet seen done. as far as a ligtbar cutout goes, I may have to adjust the positioning of the winch in order to make room for a lightbar to also fit inside the bumper in the same area. That is something I will look into. Also loosing the logo to make room for a light isn't really what I want to do. The logo is permanent advertising for anyone who sees the bumper. But if there is room for a single row lightbar cutout and I could still put the logo above or below it, I wouldn't mind doing that.
For all the lightbar lovers out there, I have designed the upper section differently on my own personal version of this bumper for my Tacoma.
This will be another option for customers instead of getting the full upper tubing around the headlights and grille.

Also a lightbar can be mounted right on top of the middle section of the bumper even if you do get the full upper tubing option. Standard pedestal mounts can be attached with self drilling screws, or by drilling holes and bolting them right onto the top of the plate.

bumper is complete. Its at powdercoat right now. Its getting a gunmetal color to match my Fuel wheels. Should look pretty sick. Probly going to be a couple weeks until powder is done though, hes pretty busy

Square amber fogs will be going in the square openings.

I like your design, but I have a Prerunner, a brand new mortgage, and a baby on the way.

Lots of plate bumpers available it seems, but I think your design is great, original, and uniquely C4. But I wish you the best bro!

That said, if you ever need a rolling advertiser, let me know. I'll run it on my truck and won't charge you a dime. ;)

There are a lot of bumper options, but a lot of them come with a long wait! That is one of the best things about my bumpers right now is that they are ready within two weeks of purchase! Thanks for the nice comments, I will let you know if I want to send you one for free:p

    Sweet! :burnrubber:

Good luck bro. Maybe you should consider making a thread in the armor section? "Available - C4 Fab Plate Bumper" or something similar.

There is a thread in the armor section also. I have gotten a lot more views on this thread though. Once stuff gets moved into the "garage" section, it doesn't get as many views.

Keep adding pictures and people will come. Show some of your other work as well, a few examples of everything so TW ' s can see what all you do.

most of the work I have done in the past has been on other Toyota's. 4runners, older trucks, a lot of custom stuff. I suppose I could still post it up as long as its Toyota stuff! Where would be the best section to just post regular fabwork not Tacoma specific?

Leave it right here. Rename the tile of the thread, C4Fab Armor Thread, and post everything you've got, just not all at once. As you more forward try to keep it all second gen. If you post something new every day you'll be guaranteed to get new viewers and prospective buyers because it will always be added to the top of the cue when someone or something is posted in here.
