Picked up my 2012 Tacoma Access Cab this morning after dealer installed TRD Supercharger (S/C) and Cat Back exhaust. Dealer was very professional and has installed half a dozen S/C's so I was confident. I asked and researched questions for weeks and was still worried about noise, power, and is it worth the cost. After spending the last hour driving around it was definitely worth the cost. First, the noise is a slight whine which actually sounds pretty cool. Coupled with the throaty cat back exhaust the S/C noise is barely audible when cruising. When you stand on it the whine is louder and well it'll turn some heads. Really not much louder than a four barrel I used to have on a chevy. The power increase is phenomenal, really. Its hard to describe how fast you get to 80mph. Just barely touch the gas pedal and your off! Pretty amazing change in the power (32% increase) and torque (25% increase). So, I hate to buy something expensive and have buyers remorse, no remorse here. Worth every penny, like having a new truck for 6k. TRD equipment id bullet proof!

IF you are off warranty and you want some more power try throwing a CAI with a dry filter on there (Volant or AFe). It'll sound even better and let the whole system breathe even better

Thanks, forgot to include the TRD Air Filter (oil). Allows more air and is reusable.

I don't like oiled filters IMHO. They can foul the MAF if you get too much oil on there after you clean it. Have fun with your truck either way though
