I just looked at the brand website, definitely looks like there is an adjustment screw on each light. If you can’t get them adjusted you should definitely get something that you can adjust or fix the mounting tab.

After seeing output shots, I think I’ll be better off with rx350 retrofits. Morimotos may possibly be better. But they’re ugly compared to arex. Thanks for the photos though.

There's got to be adjusters on the rear of the lamps. If not, contact the manufacturer for a refund.

As others have mentioned there should be a vertical adjuster on the back, it looks to be in the same spot the OEM one is in.

Anyone else install these on an SR5 and having issues with DRL? SR5’s stock DRLS’s are amber, I’ve tried with and without the included harness. Have also tried tapping into the DRL fuse in my fuse panel that was unused before, however with the gray wire tapped into the 10A fuse for DRL, and the positive on the battery, the DRL does not turn off....AT ALL. So I’ve just been going around with the DRL as amber

Do you have your switch set to the DRL position? Looks like they are taping ignition power for the DRL in which case you probably need to turn off the DRL because as you said the SR5 uses the front signals as DRL so if the switch is on your lights probably see that as a turn signal input.

So when I had the fuse tap installed
Switch off: the white was on
Switch on DRL: white came on then switched to amber
Switch on 3rd position where fogs can come on and side markers come on they charge to amber as well
I’m beginning to think these weren’t designed to change the DRL to white
They look good and all and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments but the DRL was honestly the selling point for me

The turn signal/drl bulb in the SR5 is a two filament bulb. One is for DRL and the other for Signal. Sounds to me like the two are swapped and you're getting the amber turn signals for your DRL. The DRL wire in the truck harness is powering the signal in the AREX headlights.

Also in my previous headlights I had LED bulbs with resistors, and they’re still hooked up, should I remove them? So elaborate on what my next step should be, should I remove the harness that came with AREX lights?

I meant I still have the resistors hooked up, no bulbs hooked up. I’m thinking take out the resistors and check the harness.

The SR5 does have a dual filament bulb but the dimmer one is a marker/parking light and the brighter one is the turn signal and the DRL. So the DRL in the SR5 is the turn signal just not flashing. That is why when your turn the switch to DRL and Arex lights are switching to amber. To get white you’ll have the leave the DRL off (fuse tap harness takes over DRL function). Also if I remember correctly on my 16 SR5 you could disable the DRL completely from the customization screen on the radio, that may solve the parking/taillights from causing them to switch to amber.

but how do I get the DRL’s to go off, because when I had the fuse tap plugged up, the DRL’s wouldn’t go off at all. I had the gray wire attached to the fuse tap and the positive to the battery, only thing I can think is take out my old resistors that have my turn signal and I believe that may be the cause

Must be, doesn’t help there aren’t any damn instructions in the damn box, who would’ve thought that hooking up some headlights would be so complicated
