i did a quick look this morning and found that you can still find these wheels on some sites. the problem is, most are only selling them to fj cruiser owners with the trail teams edition (most as replacement parts). either way, here is where i found them, maybe you can convince them they look better on the tacoma:

    http://toyotapartzstore.com/partloc...age&partid=766344&siteid=214289&catalogid=200

    http://shoptrd.com/partlocator/inde...nfo&PartID=766344&siteid=213860&catalogid=200

    http://www.trdsparks.com/displayparts.php?Mdl_dtl=533&Part_cat=16&parts_id=2424

    http://www.earnhardttoyotaparts.com/whtrdtrtemab.html

that was just a quick search, but i'm sure if you really looked you could find them cheaper. also, check ebay!

    good luck...

I always thought those FJ rims would look good on a regular Taco. Its a good design for the rugged look IMO. Looks good.

i don't know about lifting it, i think it looks pretty good the way it is. however, if i lifted it, it would give me an excuse to get bigger tires, haha...

I would have put the white letters out on those tires, but it looks great!

i had the option to put the raised white letters out, but i went with the black because i plan on going all black on the truck (badging, headlights/tail lights, etc.)...

looks great. Did you pick up the wheels on line or from a dealer?

I don't think you will see any rubbing as the 265 is the standard max size tires recommended by toyota.

what are the specs on those wheels? Do they have a 7 inch width or 8? I really want to get a set of 285 x 75 , 16 but I think they will rub on my standard wheels... I can look at spacers but then I have seen feedback that I should just get new wheels set up correctly vs a wheel spacer at almost the same price.

yes i picked them up from a dealer online. i got them from shoptrd.com, however, the online sales rep almost didn't sell them to me because he said they are only for the fj cruiser trail teams edition. according to him (and supposedly toyota), they would only sell them to people who have the fj cruiser trail teams edition. i was able to convince him to help me and he had 5 wheels sent from washington to virginia for $900.

definitely not seeing any rubbing, but if you wanted to go with a bigger tire you would have to lift it. 285/75R16's would require a lift. the wheels have a 7.5" width...

either way, i would check to see if the wheels fit those tires before purchasing, but i definitely recommend the wheels.

    good luck finding them!
