Ok so I cut my surround a bit (yes I used a grinder becuz I couldn't find my dremel :anonymous: lol)

And by doing that this radio sits about 1/4 in deeper having enough clearance to be able to bolt it down without having the top slide off :woot:
That surround piece is a spare one I have...going to cut mine tomorrow

A super small gap at the bottom that I really don't care ;)

Still a work in progress...need another harness and some other wiring to have this unit up at running 100%

There's a bigger 28 prong harness that controls the Bluetooth, steering wheel controls and back up cam...
I really want the Bluetooth and back up cam wired up ASAP since I've had the cam installed on my tailgate for like a year

Jerez that looks incredible! I have a '12 and you're making me want to buy the Entune to install with an aftermarket system...

Is that a start/stop button for ignition that I see?

just remember what i just did was to make the 2013 touch screen version of the radio to fit...not the regular 2012 one i had previously done fit...that one im still working on :p

Well I got my custom non-JBL to JBL Entune harness installed. Just waiting on my navigation unit to arrive with my household goods (just moved). More details once I start testing everything.

The custom harness is 13 feet long from the rear amplifier to the head unit. I ran it along the passenger side threshold up behind the glove box to the stereo.

Harness at amplifier. The third connector is in the mail now.

My custom harness that converts the non-JBL wiring that went to the old sustem to go to the JBL amp. Everything is plug and play, I didn't want to cut into any of the stock wiring.

Like I said more details to come once I test everything.

I'll post exact part numbers / websites I bought the connectors once I test everything out and it works. Most of the connectors I bought as adapter harnesses off eBay.

Jerez, here is the part number for that connector. I'm still trying to source pins for it though, buying a body harness off eBay to salvage the Toyota pins out of it haha.
