I noticed that the adapter has two cables (one for AM and one for FM?) Does your AM radio work? Maybe those two wires need to be spliced together? The only reason I want to retain AM radio is because it can be useful when on road trips for quick traffic info.

i want to see what wires on the came are what...

EDIT: what are you going to do with your old clock/hazard portion on your 2010?

if youre going to sell it, let me buy it off of you

    Here ya go:

    Rear view mirror (2010)

Audio system w/ separate amplifier w/ backup camera (2012)

When I was researching the project I figured out that connector ID1 is near the drivers side switch panel (by the steering wheel) for the rear view mirror video signal. If you find that connector and buy the mating piece and pins, you can create your own plug and play harness that goes from the radio to that connector. Makes the install cleaner and easily reversible. Just unplug the mirror side of the harness and plug your own in.

About the clock panel, I might sell it once I have the whole project finished. Right now the only thing holding me up is the R15 connector (pins).

Let me know when you get the antenna harness from China, I'll buy one off ya.

Ok, a little more info on the pins. I found another harness (on the entune units to connect the extension module to the display module, connectors R19, R20, and E15) has the same pins. That harness has part number 86842-YY020 on the label. A quick google search turned out empty handed but I'm going to contact a dealer and see if I can order that part separately. It looks promising as the repair manual has "repair or replace harness" if the extension module has errors.

The pins are also the same as the ones for the S23 connector on the amp. BUT not the same pins as that connector on the aftermarket bazooka harness that I used (seen here).

Jerez, did you get my PM regarding the antenna adapter?

Weird  that It can probably be shipped to you in a small box from the post office since it's a super small plug anyways...

    FOUND THE PINS

At least it looks like, I'll confirm once I receive them in the mail. Look here.

Both the toyota connector and pins are available on mouser.com

    R17 connector
    Pins

Now that I found that series of plug on mouser.com, the whole project became a WHOLE lot easier and cheaper. Most of the connectors and pins can now be found on mouser by looking at that series.
