I'm gonna have 5100 installed. I keep seeing post about it. And they keep talking about aal. What is aal ? And do I need to install if I'm putting 5100 on rear of my 2013 taco ?

It depends what you set the 5100s at. It also depends on how you want your truck to look. If you want your truck level go with either .85 or 1.75 with no aal

I'm putting bilstein on back also. That can adjust 1 inch. If I went 2.5 would I still need aal ?

Rear 5100s cannot be adjusted. You will need an AAL if you're going with 2.5.

If you are just using the 5100s in the rear and you dont want any lift then you dont need the AAL. If you want any lift in the back you need the AAL. The rear 5100s dont add any lift at all. If you have the 5100s on the front also, and you have them set at 1.75 or more then you should put the AAL on the rear to level out the back so it gives it the same amount of lift. Check out my build if you want pic. I have 5100s front and rear. Front set at 1.75 and rear aal. If you order the AAL it comes with all you need. You dont need new shackles or anything.

I have a 2013 DC LB, I just put on 5100's all around, fronts set at 1.75. I added a 1" block to the rear since I don't go off road. If you go off road I would do the aal. My truck is level now and I went to 265/70/17 tires, no rubbing.

I'm gonna order aal through summit. And they don't come with anything but just the leafspring. So that's all I need ?

def. they make different sized AAl 1", 2', etc. Are you going to be using the stock coils? Or getting new ones? I would def call Toytec and ask them any questions you have. Even if you dont buy from them. They are very helpful and know their stuff.

I'm gonna use stock coils. Should I be upgrading them also?

I would. Esp. if you are going to set the 5100s at 2.5. new coils will be longer and ride much better. You can get the coil overs all assembled too so you can just pop them right in.
