    Some good information there, although I did some things differently then he did.

    The biggest mistake I see is that he didn't disconnect the negative battery terminal before he started. It's ridiculously easy to fry one of the multiple computers in a modern car, killing the power by removing the negative terminal is wise. I put the terminal end in a plastic bag as insurance.
