I'm talking to Tim at DMZ now seeing about overnight shipping of what ever he can get his hands on. I'm not apposed to making our own. I will bring lots of beer and what ever food you guys want, just let me know. I'll shoot for showing up around 730 out so to start working. PM you for contact info and directions

 

So, just to make sure. I wont be able to do anything on sunday if we dont get finished on saturday. Fabbing our own is going to take some time.

 

I just ordered all the gussets and they should be getting here by Friday, fingers crossed! So I'll have all the gussets ready to go on with the install if we have the appropriate welder and skill on hand.

 

Nice, you will be gald you did it all at once instead of taking it back apart over, and over, and over .....

 

Not sure were going to have time to do all the gussets. We still need to find a capable welder and i need to see if i can borrow my bosses welder. Where's laney when you need him.

Probably not man. Idk what we could do. Maybe just your rear?

 

Unfortunately I only have the front end, the rear I plan on doing is going to be coming from dmz once they build one for a guy and make jigs to reproduce it for a kit set up. I didn't want to spend extra money on things I was just going to swap out for something else. Jerry wouldn't want to make a trip would you???

Do you know anyone else that would be skilled enough to do it? Maybe see if they are free then?

 

This is not looking good to get done this saturday. My boss is on sabbatical and is no where to be found so i couldnt get the bigger welder. So even if we find someone with the ability, they would have to bring their own welder.

 

I have all the parts, I would really like to do it still if everyone else is at least still willing to help. It's going to suck once I have to take it all apart again to put the gussets in but...I've waited to long to turn back now.
