    So someone's been in here before... might help, might make things more confusing.

    The thing is, it looks like they previously tapped into a lot more wires than will be needed for an alarm and remote start.

    I have both the install manual and the quick reference for the 02 Tacoma.

    Can anybody identify all these?

    Anything I should know about or look for before digging in with my multi-meter and test light?

    Thanks! It's been a long time since I messed with this kind of thing but some of it's coming back to me as a I lay it out on the bench...

    Ok. Doin this today. Mounted siren and antenna. Still confused on some of the remote start wires. Anybody here have some experience with these newer remote starts. The old ones had less wires
