Anyone have any tips for removing/installing the driver's side valve cover? That thing is quite difficult to get out. Looking for something to help get it back in without risking damage to other parts.

I find that loosening any wire looms and hoses that are in the way definitely helps. If my memory serves me right, I had do a bit of gymnastics by sliding it in versus placing it on top directly.

Think you gotta pull the air plenums. Makes it easy. Make sure you get 2 new gaskets for them.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Any more I can only remember this when looking at the engine.

The different engines all kinda blur together after all these years.

I can say I would remove anything in the way to make things easier.

Thanks guys. Freed up the wiring harness in a few additional spots and that gave me enough room. Should've mentioned this was on a 3.4L V6.

I think Drivers side Valve cover narrowed it down to some sort of V6 or V8.

Then you did not mention any swap so that pretty much says 3.4 by the year.
