I was wondering if I can bolt on the front spoiler/air dam off a Tacoma Sport onto my Tacoma Off Road or might the skid plate or something else get in the way? I never go "Off Road" and if I can get 1 mile more per gallon the spoiler will pay for itself in only 25,000 miles.

[IMG]Yes it will bolt right up if you buy some body clip nuts and bolts. You also have to trim a portion for the tow hook or remove the hook. [IMG][IMG]I believe I needed to buy 11 or 12 nuts and bolts .

Sure there r tons of people who do off road with their sports that would b willing to part with theirs if they have been removed. Check out some pics and do some pm’ing. Probably get one free or super cheap.

On a side note, be sure you tires have the proper PSI if you are looking to maximize MPG.

What and where did you buy the body clips? Just got my chin and the guy didn't include the back parts of the nuts.

Your cut out looks pretty clean hopefully I'll be able to duplicate.

I just went to a auto body supply store , I think they sell them at auto parts stores also. I think they are called U- clip nuts. Body panel fasteners .

I put the spoiler on mine, had to remove the tow hook to do it . The "skid plate" isn't related and wasn't in the way.

You can usually find an air dam cheep here on this site from the TRD Sport owners that want to look like us OR folks... I paid $30 For mine including hardware from a member here.
