Ordered them from downsouth motorsports. Many other spots had them for the same price but DSM had them in stock. Wheeler Offroad had them the same price with no tax but not in stock.

Late to the post but just made my account looking for some advice, I just ordered some Kings as well extended travel and 700lb springs for future bumper and skids, my questions are below.

1.) I have currently bilstein 5100 set up with AAL and icon UCAs do I need to add anything else when removing my current and replacing with the Kings?

2.) when installing I want to achieve a 3in lift like I have now with the adjustment on the front what do I adjust to as far as turns on both sides to achieve that and compensate for the taco lean?

3.) alignment specs anything I should shoot for?

4.) with my old suspension I had issues with driver side dropping 2-3 in further causing the UCA to hit my coil spring anything I should look out for? Pictures attached

    Thanks in advanced!!

You shouldn't need anything else, as all you'd need was a uniball UCA, which you have.

No way to tell you what preload to set, you'll just have to install them, see where it is, and adjust from there. Too many variables. But with a 700lb spring, and no existing armor, my guess is about an 1" of preload should be plenty.

I guess I just had the idea that 5 turns equals 1in of height so to obtain 3in lift i need 10-12 turns? now for passenger side should i adjust lower for lean ? I was think 12 turns on the driver and 10 turns on the passenger giving about 2.5 lift maybe more due to springs and compensating for the lean?

It's all relative based on what mods are on the truck, what your weight distribution is, what rate springs etc etc. You need to put them on to find out.

I think King says something about 5 turns equals one inch but I think that's with a 600 lb spring. Even then, 5 full turns would give me more than an inch with my Kings and I've got the 600lb springs. As others have said, you'll need to put them on and then adjust to your liking. The 700lb spring may allow you 3" of lift, however with a 600lb spring, there's no way I could get 3" of lift out of the kings (no armor). It will take them out of the ideal range and you'll start to get clunking in the suspension travel. I don't remember the exact measurements, but you should be somewhere between 18"-22" from the top of the hat to the center of the lower bolt. There's a King thread in the suspension forum that gives the real measurements. Make sure you're within that range for best results with these shocks.

Thank you for that!! I’m hoping to try 4 turns and 2 turns and see how it sits
