Done. Doesn't look as good as others, but it works.

I got away with industrial Velcro, so we'll see how that holds up. I had absolutely no idea the install would be as involved as trying to figure out where to mount everything with no included hardware or obvious place to put anything, including the wiring. It took me about 2.5 hours between figuring out how everything went together (pretty simple) and actually getting everything mounted and installed.

Overall they look great. I don't see any bouncing issues with my set, and they were plenty snug when screwing them in. The 55 version I bought is nice and bright, although I'd recommend the 6500k at this brightness- there is absolutely no hint of blue in the light and appears to match the stock LEDs well.

I came from LEDs off Amazon that seemed to only provide short sight down the road. Overall, I wouldn't have bought these had I known before buying them that it would be decently complicated to install them. Now that they are actually installed, I can't say I regret my purchase given the quality outcome.

I didn't like running the cabling either. I had a 2014 and there was a easy path to run cables.
    This one was much harder.

Did you use the short extension, which is the H11 adapter, between the truck's HL plug and the harness?
I didn't at first (duh moment) and realized my error.

Solved, one of the short extensions had a messed up female and would not seat correctly

is the buzzing normal? from the ballast

Buzzing is normal, it was loud at first but lessened to barely audible.

That’s odd. Mine are nearly silent and have been.

Looks like you got this solved... I had a hell of a time getting mine to power on and it was bad seat of the connectors. This was extremely frustrating for me because of the cost of this kit. I think the Morimoto ballast, bulbs, etc. are of good quality but the connectors they used in the harness are a joke. The dimensions of the connector gaskets are all over the place. Some plugs would seat with no effort and then on one connector I had to cut down the gasket just to get it to seat! Its all together now but it wasn't exactly fun to deal with.

Where did you all run your ground to? I have tried the battery and the body and cannot get them to work.

So then maybe your problem isn’t a ground problem then

I don't know what else it could be. I bought them used from a forum member who said they were working when he took them off his truck.

This is going to sound stupid, but you really have to mash the OEM headlight connector into the morimoto HID. You put it in and it feels like its closed, push harder and it will snap into place and the lights will come on.

Anyone still making brackets? I'd rather support someone who has made them, but otherwise will go to Home Depot and hack something together.
