I just didn’t want to drill any random holes and rather use what’s there also not thinking it would/could be a potential problem. Remember, non electrician here

I would also use an existing hole before making my own. Besides the hood struts the only hole (2) I’ve made was for the Baja bay light. Try to keep as factory as possible (regarding holes and tapping into factory wires)
