I have the Starmate Sirius Sat radio, and thought about installing it in my '08 Dbl cab.

Has anyone mounted the antenna on the roof of their Taco?
Any suggestions of where the best place is for the antenna cable?

I was thinking of running the cable from the roof down thru the passenger side back wall, and then under the trim. However this means from the antenna to the back wall the cable will not be secure.

The other option, I see a few have mounted the antenna under the dash and above the stereo as in the below post.

Also, any suggestions of where to mount the receiver? - thinking either the tray below the cig lighter or tray to the lower right of the steering wheel.

I got the antenna on the roof above the drivers head for 5+ years. Cable comes in through the molding and then is hidden in the pillar.
