Does anyone have a dedicated offroader with strictly offroad or trail insurance. I know they do it for bikes and atvs, but so far no luck for a Suzuki sidekick.

    Does that exist?

"Whether you like to explore fresh snowy trails on your snowmobile or venture out on your all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in wide open fields, you need to ensure you have coverage to protect your vehicles. In addition to home and auto insurance, Allstate offers coverage for some of your other “toys”. "

I think you're looking in the other "toys" category.

Even better you can talk to a broker. The OFAH might have more experience with this.

how is the vehicle registered? if it is registered as a regular vehicle it needs to be safetied and plated like any other vehicle, insurance will be based on this. transport canada and the ontario ministry of transportation should be able to shed some light to this subject for you. good luck!

So far no luck with strictly offroad coverage. Dirt bikes and atvs seems to fall in that category, but not road vehicles.

no kidding.... again, how is the vehicle registered? that will be the key to how it can be insured.
