    It is a frozen wasteland. Of course they have a higher risk of crashing. Ever drive on ice?

    Agree. 21st is a reputable, reasonably priced insurance company. It does not sound like you're getting hosed. I'm with USAA (and have been for 20+ years); have a spotless record; and pay about $700 / 6 months with excellent coverage.

    When I read this I hear it in my head through the Allstate guys voice.

    We pay $275 a month due to my teenage step daughter. :eek: We paid less than half that before she started driving for 2 2011 vehicles and a 2007. (step daughters)

    And believe me I have shopped and shopped and there is nothing cheaper for us unless I want to drop to liability only on my step daughters car, and that scares me.

    LOL 44 must be a popular age around here.

    We, my wife and I, get a multi car discount and I/we pay nearly the same for all 3 (2006 Superduty 4dr diesel, 2008 Lincoln MkZ, 2013 DBL Cab TRD OR Taco) of our vehicles. I/we have 300,000 single limit coverage, if any of you don't already have this you should switch to it as it gives you better coverage, I think our deductibles are $500. We pay every 6mnths and I/we pay $381, $382, and $382. I was surprised the Taco wasn't more than the others but it wasn't.

    Both of us are and Ins. companies wet dream. Neither of us have EVER had a claim, we've both been with the same company since we were teens and I won't say how long its been since we had a ticket, don't wanna jinx it ;), but its been quite some time.

    $912 A MONTH!!
    My wife has been with State Farm for over 23 years.
    I joined with her about 11 years ago.
    My wife::::::::::: '07 Saturn Outlook
    (bought new).
    Me:::::::::::::::: '08 4.0 DCSB.
    Bought Jan 2012
    My 19 yr old son: '08 Dodge Charger 2.7
    Bought July 2011.

    I had an accident in May 2011 after 18 years accident free. I hit a parked car on a curve on I-95 off-ramp. Looked towards center console to get my coffee at the same moment I drove on the curb. Parked car with driver inside (never explained why)! My insurance went up $50 per month. I add my son and the rates blew through the roof. I was going to buy a 2012 Charger with the Hemi and when I saw the insurance rate I went for the Tacoma. BTW, No regrets. Lately, it has been increasing every month. Last month it was $855. Now $912. The excuse given to my wife is: Florida is #1 in insurance fraud! I have to pay the price for being honest. My wife has called around but the prices are similiar. I'm currently sending 2 payments a month on the Tacoma and once it's paid I'm thinking of just going for the minimum required by law. I'll leave full coverage on my sons car.

    I don't know what else to do about it.

    I was paying $770. The accident raised it $50 a month, but, here is the icing on the cake, I am paying more now because, and I quote "Unfortunately, this is due to the fact that Florida is #1 in insurance fraud." I spoke to 2 other people that had the same BS told to them. I am furious! I understand that things go up but ghis crap is sky rocketing!!!!

    I can't believe how much people are paying. I pay about 270 every six months. Between my 2010 and my wife's 2011 Highlander, we pay about 545 every six months for both of us.

    Gitlift37, you should look into changing your coverage to $300,000 single limits. As your policy is now, you will only be covered up to the limits you currently have and if either your 50K or 100k coverage weren't enough to cover the loss it can't borrow the money from the other part of your coverage to cover if it went over the 50k or 100k limits. It costs VERY little to upgrade to single limits.
