    I have recently received my registration in the mail along with my insurance renewal and have noticed they have both dropped quite significantly. I have a 2005 Tacoma and wonder if anyone else has noticed a decrease in their insurance/registration costs on an 05?

    Yeah in Cali the registration was just recently readjusted. There was a temporary tax increase to help pay for whatever and unlike most taxes they actually did what they said they would and removed this one... for now...

    registration in the People's republic of FL has gone up 3x in the last few years. A basic tag used to cost you like $55 and it cost me $120 last month to renew for a year.

    that is still not bad. 2nd year i owned my truck it was 355 :eek:. Now it is like 250.
