" intake AC button off / on didn´t work" from dash panel Tacoma 2008

    hi team,
    hope everyone here are safe on this amazing tacoma members because of long quarantine because that we are living in all the world , my prays for all the members and their family as well , I notice the bottom didn´t work maybe its broken or so, im not sure whats the real name , attach picture of this one , button is a red arrow pointed , hope someone help me with this , not sure if someone had same issue want to kno if can be fixed by myself, Thanks to all for you help an support

    You need to determine if the switch is not working or if it’s just the light. That’s the recirculation button. Turn the fan on high with all the windows rolled up. Push the recirculation button. If the fan gets louder and you feel more air out the vents, the switch is working and it’s just the light. If the fan does not get louder, the recirculate system isn’t working. It’s a pretty complicated system. The switch tells the AC amplifier what to do and the AC amplifier tells the servo what to do and at the same time, the AC amplifier turns on the light in the switch.

    i think is the button because when i puss , nothing happen (neither turn light on ) , I ´ll try to disassemble the push bottom and see how bad is

    hi after couple days, button works perfect nothing change, now everything works great..... not sure why sometimes works fine and other days not..., is any fuse that may causing ??

    Nope, can't be a fuse. The fuses that do that do lots of other stuff. Going to be impossible to track down now that it's working.

    255/85/R16 Falken Wildpeak MTs, Mobtown sliders, ARB bar, SOS front skid, Icon RXT leafs, extended & adjustable Kings, JBA UCAs, OVS wedge RTT, dual AGM batteries, Gen2 xrc9.5 winch, CB, GMRS, S1 ditch lights...
    If you take the glove box out, remove the cabin air filter, and look up in there you should actually be able to see the recirc door open or close when the button is pushed. My memory it a bit foggy on that area, but I think you would be looking in and up..

    Somebody can probably dig up a schematic that would help explain what you are looking for.
