im planning to take the intake duct system apart to wash it all out real good and sprat the sensors and valve body with carb cleaner so they work better.

any advice or things to watch out for?

I don't want to break or damage anything naturally.

    thanks for your help

Don't use standard carb cleaner on MAF sensor, spend a couple more $$ & get regular MAF cleaner, those things are fragile as hell...

I planned to take everything off and disassemble it to clean the tubing with a bucket of soapy water, the hard parts will get the cleaner.\

what do I want? does it say "MAF cleaner" and I assume regular carb cleaner is fine for the valve body?

also where is the MAF sensor? is it that first connection by the filter or the thing in the middle of the ductwork?
