    Hello,

Replacing my exhaust system and ordered new gaskets for where the intake manifold meets with the 1st catalytic converter. Looking at the gaskets from a profile view, it appears they have a side that has metal closer to the edge and one that has more rubber before the first metal layer. Are these gaskets directional? Does it matter which side goes against the intake manifold?

Ah, sorry, yeah it was the exhaust manifold. Ended up calling Toyota and they said it didn't matter how it went.
