1999 2.4L Tacoma, rodent ate through the air filter and debri sucked into the intake. Should I start at the top of the intake or go directly to the head connection. Do the intakes have an internal screen? If so, at which connection?
    Thanks- Steve

No screen, IIRC. Just loosen all the clamps and tear it down. Doubt it made it past the butterfly in the throttle body.

    :sorry:
That really stinks! The good news is that the teardown process on the Taco is fairly simple. I would just start tearing it down piece by piece, but I agree, it shouldn't have made it past the throttle body. Be careful not to miss ANY pieces though!
