alright i've decided i wanna little more growl under the hood and that i want to do the ISR (Intake Silencer Removal) mod. I just dont know how. I have a 2.7, so i think the intake is a little differnt that the v6. i capped off one silencer or what i think was a silencer:

    here is before: [IMG]
    here is after: [IMG]

after i started it up, i didnt here a differnce, so i think i might have taken out the water trap or something. So can people mabye post pics of the silencer they removed, if there is another one, or just give me some help on where the silencer is in this pic:

i think that only works while you drive, not so much at an idle..did you rev it up and see if it made a difference?

yuuupp x2. I did the same thing, but capped the plastic piece and kept it on.
you won't hear it at idle. but you will hear a growl at higher rpms, around 3-4k.

have you done a deckplate? the combo of these pretty much makes your own CAI. i notice a little more power too.

You get no gain from that, it just makes the intake louder.
