Nice. Is the accelerator part of the TRD intake? Meaning does it come with it if you purchase the TRD intake? Thx

Yeah it’s part of the trd intake kit. But if you’re going to go with the accelerator plus the KN filter/intake tube you’d be all in at $180-190 versus $350

Reminds me of the throttle body spacers that were popular 15-20 years ago.

I went with the Injen only because someone was selling one locally for less than half of retail. $180 doesn’t get me very far when I comes to truck parts so I figured why not. Not sure if I have noticed any difference other than maybe a slight bump in mpgs, but I’m happy with it!

    Oh look, another mod....

The next time you want to piss away $180, give me a call. I'll sell you some NITROGEN so you can air up your tires.

Went with the AFE kit with the front scoop. Found it on FB Marketplace for $200, cleaned it up, and installed a new filter($50). For that price its total worth it. I would never have paid retail for it. Love the intake, sounds cool when I want the noise, silent went I don't want it. Intake over exhaust on these trucks all day.

All people posting in this thread have been selfish, not telling Op where the real gains in hp come from. Jessie told us in 2001 where they come from. I’ve been running it 1/4 mile at a time everyday.

What an odd statement, "Your wheels go further (30-60 more miles) each time you fill up at the gas station."

Kind of genius marketing, that is. I know what the statement implies, but its really saying that you will get at least 30-60 miles per tank, so its technically true.
