Magnaflow exhaust, AFE stage 2 intake, King 2.5" resi coilover/rear shocks, Pro Comp UCA's, Deaver 1.5" leaf pack, BPF raptor style grill
has anyone went from the AFE (non legal) intake to K&N (legal) intake?
just curious if i have to actually reinstall any of the shit i took off the factory intake to make the K&N work, or if it is a direct swap essentially.

If you are going to off road in in the dunes out there, you NEED to prefilter and post filter the K&N. If you don't you will suck fine sand and other crap into the engine and cause damage.

The K&N was designed to flow more air in the baja trucks that use several different filters to keep the sand out.
possibly one of the worst things you can do to a vehicle that is not stripped down and rebuilt on a regular basis.

as far as what is involved in the swap.....it would depend on what the kits contained. call AFE and ask them if they can provide the instructions for their kit...same with K&N.
