So I wondered if the 3rd gen radio bezel would fit into the first gen with minor modifications. I love the look of the wood grain. I can't seem to find the answer to my question anywhere and was wondering what is interchangeable. I would love to swap the door panels with the brown fabric ones along with with a brown bench seat. If I need to swap the dash to make the radio bezel fit I'm more than willing to.

I think you have to swap the whole dash, all the way down to the ducting for the heater.

If I remember correctly, @1997tacomav6 did a 4Runner dash swap.

I was remembering the woodgrain trim visible in the video in your sig. Now that I look again--is that just adhesive-backed woodgrain applied too the original Tacoma trim?
