First off, we want pictures - I find it a little strange I have to ask.
And second, what skids did you go with?
And last, you were suppose to wait for me to order with you, so you could pick them up for me at no charge :boink:

Pics as requested.....didn't get around to taking a ton on my phone.

Also, don't get too excited now! I haven't ordered anything yet. It's not in the budget at the moment but its at the top of my list after this last trip. I'll probably do Pelfreybilt since they are so good to deal with unless a reliable local option comes up......I've been talking with a colleague who's son may have access to a 3D scanner o_O

I know exactly where this camp spot is, the wife and I had planned on using it as our next spot on VMUTS to camp with the doggies because of the lake view. How were the bugs?

Pics look great! Love the one with the cave in the back.
I'm not sure I can wait until next year for skids... I've installed everything that was sitting in my living room and now the itch is starting to irritate again. I was looking at steel Pelfrey's last night after the boys here gave me some advice. And also bed caps lol :bananadead:

They weren't too bad actually. We had the typical swarm of deer fly following the truck on the trails but at that camp site we weren't really bothered much. It's a pretty great spot with the little beach(ish) entry to the water and a nice big driftwood log to sit on. We tried fishing but didn't get any bites. Maybe it's a trout only lake or we just suck lol?

Well shit, twist my rubber arm.......if you are ready to order skids, I'm not going to not order them too......:fistbump:

@Joe23 you worried about the sliders in the winter? I want fill plates on mine when I get them, but my concern is the snow/salt build up in the winter months and its impact on the sliders.

I feel like more snow and salt would build up on the sliders with a fill plate vs the sliders without fill plate. causing them to rot out a little faster. I know people and have had side steps on other vehicles that have rusted out and fallen off because in the winter all the road grime builds up and collects on the underside of the step. tho the side steps are made pretty cheap with thin steel supports lol

The top plate has a bunch of roughly 1 inch holes in it. Doubt it will be a problem

fair enough, plus a good ol' kick here and there to knock any build up off couldn't hurt I suppose

Barely, I just put my phone phone in an airplane mode. Don't want any distractions while I am enjoying outdoors.
