Some rain would be nice to clean the dirt in my bed, as I am lazy to wash it :p

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Sorry for the short notice, can't make it. Got a customer coming for some birds. So I got to be here to help catch em. Catch y'all next time

Awesome pictures. Thanks again for the stickers!

Was really nice to meet everyone. Hope to have another meet that may involve some off-roading/camping.

That was fun, a bit wet, but fun. It was too bad I didn't have my new CVT awning on my truck, although it would have been a tight fit for everyone to get under for the great showing that we had!! Thanks everyone, it was great seeing all the trucks.

    Thanks, Peter!

It was nice to meet some TW peeps and chat Tacos and Land Cruisers. Some really nice trucks there.

    tw_meet_zps71jvzpgo_89ef9326f341e52cc1db520271fb53f341c21f0f.jpg

... and this Japanese (LH drive) diesel LC was just plain bad-ass. It red lines at 4100 RPM.

    tw_meet_LC%20japan_zpsno9iwsdp_6d80f504b7364fc592a16d7309f013fb5e69642c.jpg

    That was awesome!

But the traffic in Toronto on a Sunday... that's retarded!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I took the 403 to the 401 Eastbound. The traffic was bumper to bumper in both directions on the 401 and stop and go slow. I then took the 400 North (smooth flowing) to the 407 East. I came back down at Brock Road (Hwy 12), and the traffic was still bumper to bumper in both directions, but completely backed up Westbound.

I drove in solid traffic all the way to Port Hope, then it thinned out a little Eastbound, but Westbound was still bumper to bumper all the way from Trenton/Belleville.

Where does all this traffic come from?!!

I have birds around here too...

Turkeys, quail, pheasant, ducks, and geese; I don't chase them, I shoot them. My little Westie dog roots them out after they touch down..

LOL, we have chickens & ducks, and a few quail. We sell mostly just the eggs, but sometimes we do get rid of a few roosters, or ducks.

Yeah, it was bad west bound as well. Bumper to bumper all the way to Milton around 4 PM. The GTA is one of North Americas top 3 conurbations with a huge population and lots of cars! The other two big areas are New York and LA.

    conurbation

def. A conurbation is a region comprising a number of cities, large towns, and other urban areas that, through population growth and physical expansion, have merged to form one continuous urban and industrially developed area.

... a.k.a. megalopolis or a shit-show. I don't know how you guys do it. I lived in Georgetown (1986-92) and the population went from 17,000 to 35,000. Now it's 375,000 or more. Insane!

But life is not all roses and champagne here either. I was in a traffic jam here in the county after I got off of the 401 on Sunday. I met another motorist at a four-way stop, and we argued with hand signals as to, "You go first... No! You go first!" Then, to top it off, I got stuck following a big-ass tractor towing a massive disc plow for about 200 meters before I could pass. The horror!

That's what the radio is for. I left earlier and had no problems with traffic.

Did you guys go shopping at the mall with the missing FJ guys?

Nope, I didn't know there was any missing FJ guys to match the three or four that showed up. I know from last years pics, that there were a lot of missing FJ's. I guess that they didn't want to get their trucks wet.

I just stood in the misty rain, then took off home.
