Should be a good time. Don't know of any bed tents but I'm sure someone will chime in.

Usually I follow someone in. Generally though, you take the deer trail till it ends if my memory serves me correctly(I think it is also marked as the bunny trail as well) . It turns into a gravel, then dirt road. Always best to go in with someone in case. Check in on SONTT for convoys. I will be coordinating through here as well but just to get a headstart.

    EDIT: changed map

Alright, one day early (lucky me) on Thursday Aug 11, I'll eventually make it to Wasaga Beach and spend the evening and overnight with the black flies then on Friday morning head over and up Hwy 11 to Burks Falls then head over to Logger's Station, this is where it's at, correct?

It's down the road from the loggers station depending on where they are camping. If they are at the hydro lines (back entrance) then it's before the loggers station if I remember correctly.

Like I said I usually follow someone up, and I am feeling a little fuzzy on the directions I have given ya, so I'll do my best to coordinate with someone on Sonnt to figure out where we are meeting and what not.

Okay so I have posted up on sontt about the following who are going. I have asked about meeting places as well as clarified about the way to get to the trail. Will get back to everyone.

Can follow it here if interested.

You know, I'm not trying to confuse things here. Only trying to clarify. This is Ardbeg and the trails and Loggers station house I remember. I have no Idea where the trail the OP mentioned is.. https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Ar...6c575a2b11f700b2!8m2!3d45.641037!4d-80.079293

Then you follow along to the end of Clear lake road where the hydro cut is.. You camp on Round lake or Black Lake. Generally we met up right at Clear lake road and Black lake..

Just saying.. Where's the hydro cut on your map OP?? I've run this area 10 or more times..

The quote below is not correct IMHO!!

Oh shit. Thanks @Onlydad for pointing that out. I have to double check know but looking at your map, I see the railroad track prior to the loggers station. definetely not confusing anything as it would be a big cluster fuck if I sent people to the wrong place.

Edit: just checked Sonnt and @Onlydad you are 100% correct.

More info in this thread pg 7 a couple posts down.

Glad I caught it.. I might be free it would be fun to get in there and meet up if only for a day.. If you all try to meet up at Black lake I can definately make it in there in my 2WD.. If it's dry which it seems to be this year, I can go up the trail a bit to Clear lake.. There's a cut in off the Bunny trail just north of the river for the brave, you can make it over to the hydro cut and finsh the run up to Black lake.. But there will be water crossings.. Too much for me to handle in my truck..

    Anyways.. Have fun :)

There's a large clearing right at Black lake. I suggest you all meet up there..

You definitely know the trail better than me. I have done parts of the trail 2 or 3 times but I was always following someone/the group so I don't know my way around or the names of the the trails.

Just south of Black lake is the huge "Play Area" Lots of rock/challenges.. It's where I intend to watch the bold and the brave flex their stuff..

It's 50/50 for me on making this. This home deck project has mushroomed into a complete remove, replace, plus addition. I can't find time to work on my truck to get it ready.
