Not in all cases. To be honest I didn't really bury them deep enough in some cases. It was less work to hook a strap in other cases.

In other cases worked just as it should. I think they are great to have and if you were really stuck you could make them work.

If you are going to get a set and not use them as often I would get the cheaper treds from smittybilt. Heard some good things about there new ones.

Propbaly won't ship to Canada. Played that game at the checkout on Amazon.com. Amazon.ca don't have to worry lol they always ship to my place.

Still good for someone with a po box on the othe side of the pond.

I've read reviews on the Smitty's where they broke in half.... no warranty coverage either.

I was thinking the same thing for visiblity, but that's $50 more than the Smitty Elements after taxes. I could buy the Hi-Lift base with that extra money. Also, the black ones would blend in on the roof and won't scream, "Steal me!'

It is also very important that people know how to use the recover gear being used.

I had never used the trax before and when @tacoma16 was putting them under my wheels, like a tard I put the truck in reverse and tried to move it, shooting the track out at his knees. I learned a valuable lesson, but almost disabled @tacoma16.

Well that's one plus to the plastic traction boards. If it were metal it would be a bad time lol. I don't even remember all this happening though lol.

If anyone ever needs stuff from the states let me know. I order and pick up from the states often. I travel to and from Toronto less often but at least every 2 months or so.
