So i have recently bought an 05' Tacoma Regular Cab. I want to put a 3" body lift on it, but i have no idea where to start. I went to one palced and they priced me 2200 for the lift and labor, and i feel like this is not a good deal. Si if yall don't mind, What do you think? Where should i buy the lift? What size tires should i get? Wheels? Thank yall so much. By the way, i live in Georgia, East metro. So if anyone lives near here and has gotten a lift, i would love to hear the prices. Thanks!

    x2 that sums it up.

Also this whole site is prejudice towards body lifts, so you will not get a positive answer here

You can do a 3" suspension lift for about $300 (plus install). Way better looking and less dangerous than a body lift.

Look into Bilstein 5100's up front and an add a leaf in the back.

OMG $2200 for a BL and install. i'm speachless

dont waste your time on BL, they just make the truck look gay. like said before, go with a susp lift. you'll be happier.

Haha thanks guys for the input. I can see that yall arent for the body lift, i just thought that would be best for my truck because it is only a V4. Well if i were going the suspension lift route, how much would it cost for parts and instilation? Thanks so much for yalls help, you might have just saved me a bunch of time and money lol

input.. saying "Yall" sounds kinda funny to people who are not in the south..just my 2 cents...not trying to be an a hole;)

And there is no such thing as a v4 ...the reason they have v6 engines is...because you have 3 cyl per side and it makes a v shape...you just dont c a v4 with 2cyl per side

The route that most take who are on a budget but also want a quality suspension lift is to put Bilstein 5100 preload adjustable shocks on the front and an add a leaf on the back. This is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350 for parts. Do a search around here for those components and you will find plenty of info. Also check the stickies at the top of the suspension forum.
