    lol. "ran when parked"

"This 1982 Toyota Pickup SR5 is powered by the legendary 22R 2.4L inline-four, professionally rebuilt by Arsenault Cylinder Heads under the previous owner. I was told the engine had fewer than 5,000 km on the rebuild at the time of my purchase. It starts easily, idles smoothly, and delivers strong, reliable performance going down the road.
A properly tuned Weber carburetor enhances throttle response, paired with a 4-2-1 performance header and flex pipe feeding a stainless steel side-exit exhaust."

so the guy repainted it, added some raptor liner, and is looking to at least double his money.

for 18k, that engine had better damn well be perfect, not "i was told". i expect boroscope videos of the cylinder walls, and a full oil analysis.

but lets face it, i'm just partly irritated that the guy had to kick over to porche colors, instead of even making an attempt at keeping an original toyota color.

something tells me he's selling because his wife just got the restoration bill.

    i vote crack pipe.

Wouldn’t this simply be a resto not a resto-mod? A resto-mod would have modern components and upgrades.

May not be an 82 model. If I remove correctly in 82 the headlights went to square not round. I believe 81 was the last of the round headlights. I had an 82 and the headlights were sq.

If you watch vise grip garage on YouTube you know what "ran when parked" means.

Kilometers, colour, Porsche color, what’s going on here? How much rust is waiting to poke through that new paint? That’s a $6-$8k truck on a good day. Ship it back to Canada and see if they want it.
